Joyce Wang Studio has designed Rewild, a collaboration with Pinton, a rug collection inspired by nature with Aubusson's rich weaving heritage.

The Rewild collection was born from precious moments spent walking the cobbled streets of Aubusson, an exploration of decay and preservation.

From the natural rock formations, stonework and lime plaster in Aubusson to studies of fossilised plants and demystifying traditional ways of weaving tapestries, it's evident where the inspiration for Rewild was born.

Rewild is a dialogue shaped by meditative contemplation: The collection represents a poetic translation of nature's forms, reweaving time and inserting modernity with material innovation, all driven by a passion for fine craftsmanship.

This project has been longlisted in the textile design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
