TM Light has designed the architectural lighting for The Travel Agency 5th Avenue.

The Travel Agency is the first recreational dispensary brand in New York City, located on 5th Avenue.

The overall lighting approach enhances each store's spatial character by embedding itself within the architecture, emanating from reveals, gaps and openings that are pushed, peeled, or pulled from the surfaces and geometries of the space.

Light sources are concealed from view, with only their resultant wall wash of light left as evidence of their presence in the space.

In addition, product cases (designed and fabricated by the designer) and immersive rooms at the back of each store are colour-customisable to allow for saturated, curated experiences.

This project has been longlisted in the architectural lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
