Objects of Common Interest has designed a series of sculptural jewellery displays for Charlotte Chesnais at Galeries Lafayette.
Objects of Common Interest collaborated with Charlotte Chesnais to create a sculptural jewellery display at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. Inspired by Charlotte's flowing forms, the installation transforms the retail setting into a poetic, abstract landscape where resin and jewellery coexist.
Born from mutual admiration and a shared approach to form, this project invites tactile exploration and emotional connection where the design reinterprets presentation into spatial composition, blurring boundaries between function and art.
"The brief called for a poetic yet functional setting, one that would reflect the fluid, abstract qualities of Charlotte's jewellery while departing from conventional retail display logic," said Objects of Common Interest.
The aim was to create a space that blends architecture, sculpture and product presentation into a seamless, emotionally resonant experience.
All display pieces were fabricated at Castinggg Studio, Objects of Common Interest's fabrication studio in Piraeus, Greece.
This project has been longlisted in the bespoke design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
