L'Observatoire International has designed the lighting design for the Hermès collection at Milan Design Week 2025, using suspended boxes and colour halos to transform objects into luminous emotions within a light-filled scenography.

For Hermès at Milan Design Week 2025, L'Observatoire International – under the scenography of Charlotte Macaux Perelman and Alexis Fabry – conceived a lighting scheme that transformed La Pelota into an immersive, ethereal space.

Suspended boxes cast vivid colour halos, turning objects into luminous emotions. Light was meticulously deployed to accentuate craftsmanship and guide a rhythmic discovery.

The result was an atmosphere of understated elegance, where each piece commanded attention.

This lighting design reinforces Hermès' artistry through an environment of clarity and restraint, enveloped in a soft, cloud-like glow.

This project has been longlisted in the architectural lighting design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
