The Trogir Pedestrian Bridge is a contemporary steel structure set within the UNESCO-protected city of Trogir that honours maritime heritage while connecting history, community and modern infrastructure.

The bridge's slender, hyperbolic paraboloid form blends into the historic context while introducing a distinct modern identity.

Prefabricated in a local shipyard and installed in a single day, the bridge highlights sustainable construction, local craftsmanship and engineering innovation.

More than a crossing, it acts as a cultural landmark, enhancing the urban fabric while respecting the historical integrity of its surroundings.

This project has been shortlisted in the infrastructure and transport project category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
