AIM Architecture has renovated Cotton Park into a mixed-use community space in Changzhou, China.
This project involves the renovation of four industrial oil tanks for the successful retail brand Cotton Park, where AIM Architecture was tasked with revitalising the industrial heritage and creating mixed-use community spaces, including retail, F&B, exhibition spaces, and recreational areas.
This regeneration project by Cotton Park aligns with the architects' own aspiration to bring urban spaces to life.
"Our goal was to breathe new life into the city and foster community engagement by establishing a place where people could gather," said AIM Architecture.
"Simultaneously, we aimed to create a versatile place capable of hosting various cultural events and gatherings, enriching the local experience."
This project has been shortlisted in the mixed use project category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
