Foster Lomas Architects has designed the interiors of Bluelion Studios, a low-energy office in London, England.
The Bluelion Studios project transforms an outdated commercial space within a former printworks into a flexible, low-energy office that fosters creativity and collaboration.
Honouring the building's industrial heritage, Foster Lomas used a muted, cohesive palette and upgraded services to enhance performance without losing character.
The layout maximises daylight and thermal comfort, while simple, cost-effective interventions – like a heat pump and MVHR system – boost sustainability.
This project has been shortlisted in the workplace interior (small) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
