Nina+Co and Craftworks Productions have collaborated on the interiors of Nina's House, featuring a welcoming family kitchen made from locally rescued and British-sourced timbers in Tottenham, London, England.

The design began with the chunky island — crafted from a rescued London Plane tree that blew down in Soho Square — and designed to be tactile and kid-friendly.

The doors, drawers and drawer boxes are made of British Douglas Fir, as are the entire tall larder units.

On the sink side, the countertop is made from Smile recycled plastic, diverting a large amount of high-impact polystyrene from landfill.

In addition, the kitchen sink and the hob were sourced second-hand and all the joinery was expertly crafted 15 minutes away from the site by Craftworks Productions.

This project has been shortlisted in the kitchen interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
