Archi+ has designed the bathroom interiors of Olivia, a restored Sliema townhouse in Sliema, Malta.
This bathroom forms part of a wider restoration of a historic townhouse, where playful geometry, colour and spatial storytelling converge.
Inspired by ancient Roman ruins and inverted theatre forms, the bathroom reimagines a functional space as an immersive, joyful experience.
Stepped ceilings, geometrical wallpapers and thoughtful custom furniture echo the language of performance and ritual.
Bathed in hues of pink and blue, the space becomes a sensorial retreat – uplifting, expressive and deeply human.
"It is a sanctuary where architecture stirs emotion and even the most private rituals are elevated to moments of quiet celebration," said Archi+.
This project has been shortlisted in the bathroom interior category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
