Interesting Times Gang has designed Archipelago, a collection of sustainably made tabletops and a bar counter.
Interesting Times Gang transformed Swedish ocean plastic waste into a vibrant collection of handmade, bespoke tabletops and a sleek bar counter; recycled materials from half a tonne of fishing nets were reincarnated into uniquely beautiful furniture.
Overlooking Stockholm's archipelago and flooded with natural light, the space creates an atmosphere that is both tranquil and inspiring.
This one-of-a-kind environment, where elements of nature and circular materials meet, creates an experience that is as unforgettable as it is extraordinary.
The project was made in collaboration with Tengbom architects for Fotografiska's new event area called 'Salongen'.
This project has been shortlisted in the bespoke design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
