The Wicker Story has designed Double Udaan for Kembara, a hand-woven rattan ceiling installation.
In the vast expanse of raw space, the Double Udaan installation emerges as a testament to the beauty of simplicity and the power of raw elements.
This project was conceived for Kembara, a Pan-Asian restaurant in Mumbai, in response to the client's vision for a dynamic intervention that evokes movement within the space.
"Inspired by the organic flow of a bird's flight, our creation fills the space with dynamic forms in subtle elegance," said The Wicker Story.
As a result, the piece becomes both a visual anchor and a kinetic whisper, animating the interiors with its undulating rhythm.
This project has been shortlisted in the bespoke design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
