Foster + Partners Industrial Design has designed Desk Z for UniFor, the final component of the XYZ office system.

Following the launch of Shelving X and Table Y, Foster + Partners Industrial Design and UniFor have unveiled Desk Z at Salone del Mobile, Milano 2024.

Desk Z has been designed to facilitate more flexible working within the office, where the worktop can be tuned to the user's requirements, with the very lightest of touches.

The shared aim was to create an intuitive and smooth movement, without electronic actuators or crank handles.

This project has been shortlisted in the workplace design category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
