Morrama has designed Kibu, circular children's headphones intended to be built, repaired and recycled.

The Kibu headphones are a product designed to empower children through hands-on learning and creativity. Developed by Morrama and Batch.works, the headphones are made from sustainable materials and designed for easy assembly, repair and customisation.

With a screwless snap-fit design and colourful, interchangeable parts, this product encourages young users to explore how technology works, fostering confidence and curiosity.

This project promotes a circular economy by extending product lifespan through repairability and part replacement.

More than just a tech accessory, Kibu headphones are an educational tool and creative outlet, redefining how children interact with and understand the products they use.

This project has been shortlisted in the product design (consumer design) category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
