Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2025 emerging architect of the year, Hé! is a Brussels-based architecture practice founded by architects Hanne Eckelmans and Renée Verhulst.

The practice was established in 2017 and focuses on developing projects that are adaptable and able to transform over time.

Recent projects include updating a traditional Flemish home in Pajottenland, Belgium, to connect it with nature, and the transformation of an industrial building in Brussels into a four-storey townhouse, co-working space and studio.

Hé! also recently added a timber extension to a 1920s house on the outskirts of Brussels.

Hé! is shortlisted in the emerging architect of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
