Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2025 interior designer of the year, India Mahdavi is a Paris-based architect and designer who founded her studio in 2000.
While Mahdavi's work is often influenced by her Iranian and Egyptian heritage, her studio works with a diverse selection of architects and designers, who provide multiple cultural outlooks on their projects.
Recent projects include the PoMo museum in Trondheim, Norway, the Pierre Bonnard exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne and Villa Medici in Rome.
India Mahdavi has been shortlisted in the interior designer of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2025.
