Shortlisted for Dezeen Awards 2025 emerging designer of the year, Arno Hoogland is a Dutch designer based in Amsterdam.

With a background in carpentry, he creates sculptural wall panels and interiors ranging from houseboats and hotels to libraries and outdoor spaces.

Hoogland's work is strongly influenced by futurism and a drive to create alternate realities.

At Milan Design Week 2025, Hoogland built a "temple of the future" using a robot to carve intricate patterns into the surface of MDF panels.
