Winner: Exhibition design (interior) of the year 2025. Christian + Jade has designed the interiors of The Age of Wood, an exhibition designed and curated for Karimoku Furniture's new centre, Karimoku Research, in Tokyo, Japan.

The Age of Wood observes the age-old philosophical and personal relationship between human beings and the forest.

Tracing what it means to age alongside wood, in the human-made interior and nature alike, the design recognises that this ancient kinship continues to grow and evolve in meaningful ways to this day.

"The fate of the forest is intrinsically connected to ours," said Christian + Jade.

Judges comments: "There is a quiet beauty to this exhibition, which we found both poetic and educational. The thoughtful approach to storytelling brings a human expression to material research. It succeeds in bringing trees to life, offering a deeper understanding of the material lifecycle and the importance of circularity."
