Atelier Architettura Chinello Morandi (AACM) has designed Kinder Rain in Piove di Sacco, Italy.

Kinder Rain is a kindergarten that seeks to translate new pedagogical needs into spatial form, focusing on an architecture enriched by the interaction between gathering spaces and classrooms – while generating continuous opportunities for exchange and dialogue.

This project proposes a renewed vision for early-years architecture, where spatial experience becomes an active pedagogical tool.

The school is conceived as a constructed landscape, a synthesis of memory and invention, capable of translating rural archetypes into a contemporary educational environment.

At its core lies the civic and ethical value of creating public architecture with durable materials — ensuring dignity and longevity for future generations, alongside responsible recovery and recycling at the end of the building's life cycle.
