Ste Marie has reimagined the interiors of The Bell in Chicago, United States.

The Bell reconsiders a 1966 Chicago landmark office tower at a time of shifting demand within the downtown market.

Rather than altering the building's form, this project works within its existing structure and material language, introducing 100,000 square feet of shared amenity space organised as a continuous interior sequence.

Hospitality, work, wellness and social environments are integrated throughout the tower, supporting a broader range of occupation beyond the desk.

Original materials, including marble, terrazzo, and walnut, are retained and extended, allowing the building's mid-century character to remain present as it accommodates contemporary patterns of use.
