À Part Architectes has designed the Petit Quai Footbridge in Morez, France.

The Petit Quai Footbridge appears as a simple hyphen inserted between the riverbanks in Morez – both minimal and timeless – while surprising users with its unique geometry.

More than just a structural artwork, the footbridge becomes a belvedere offering stunning views over the Bienne river.

"Benches are integrated to invite people to stop, relax and feel the river," said À Part Architectes.

"Thus, the footbridge turns out to be a vibrant space for daily life and a place of contemplation."
