Daily Tous Les Jours has designed Human Perches (Perchoirs Pour Humains), in collaboration with Keiko Devaux.

Punctuating the boardwalk of a birds-of-prey sanctuary, this project's interactive human-sized perches compose a sonic narrative of the forest's inhabitants.

"Perching calls for a moment of presence and suspension, engaging a new form of active listening," said Daily Tous Les Jours.

"Once the perches fall silent again, visitors can hear new layers of sound from the forest."

Created in collaboration with internationally acclaimed composer Keiko Devaux, the 10 interactive perches play a layered and evolving soundscape that reveals the dynamics that animate the surrounding ecosystem and the changing soundscape of local birdlife.
