Acrylicize has designed a three-dimensional navigational system for the Lego Group's 157,000-square-foot, six-floor workplace in Boston's Back Bay – one that draws entirely from the visual and structural language of the Lego brick.

Scaled-up interlocking brick forms serve as directional markers, room identifiers and floor indicators: sculptural, immediately legible and familiar to almost anyone on the planet.

"This is a wayfinding system that refuses to separate navigation from narrative where finding your way through the building is, itself, part of the experience," said Acrylicize.
