JA Projects has designed the interiors of the Matter and Shape exhibition in Paris, France.

This project was created for Paris Fashion Week 2026, rooted in the cultural and geographic history of the Jardins des Tuileries.

"The client brief called for two architectural pavilions for the third edition of the Matter and Shape design salon, sited within a Unesco-listed garden and requiring sensitivity to strict heritage constraints," said JA Projects.

Working as lead consultant and architect alongside Paris-based graphic design studio Studio Hugo Blanzat, JA Projects developed a low-carbon material palette of timber, green oil-stained pine and locally sourced hempcrete blocks.

The form references historic gatherings on site whilst the materiality speaks to the garden's history as a productive landscape, where material, memory and circularity are woven together into a single spatial language.
