BAR Studio has designed the interiors of Fairmont Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan.

Fairmont Tokyo occupies the upper floors of the mixed-use Blue Front Shibaura South Tower in Tokyo's emerging waterfront district Shibaura, offering striking views from its high-rise setting over Tokyo Bay, Tokyo Tower and the iconic Rainbow Bridge.

Taking its cues from the location's intriguing meeting of urban and natural environments, BAR Studio's refined interior design for the 217-room hotel embraces the contrasts of both the city and Tokyo Bay.

From master planning to layered details and art curation, the holistic design harmonises Tokyo's diverse spirit – traditional yet contemporary, calm yet energetic, connected to nature yet plugged into urban culture.
