Nougat and Fabric are porcelain tile collections designed by Teruhiro Yanagihara Studio for Alternative Artefacts Danto.

Nougat is a tile created by blending crushed granules of varying sizes into coloured clay, resulting in a finished surface that recalls the texture of the French confectionery nougat, where, due to irregular particles kneaded in at random, no two tiles share the same pattern.

Fabric, on the other hand, is a collection that captures the texture of cloth, translating it into moulded relief on the surface of each tile. The subtle shadows created by its irregular undulations lend a softness reminiscent of textile, despite the material's inherent solidity.
