Salt Salon is both a state-of-the-art salon and a vibrant cultural space in London's historic Borough Market.

Unknown Works has transformed a listed Victorian brick storehouse into a highly crafted listening environment, where hairdressing rituals are shaped by sound and club culture.

Each of the three levels of the hair salon has a distinct hairdressing function and acoustic identity and a soundsystem is integrated into the bespoke interior.

On the first floor, a listening room doubles as a venue for performances and deep listening, allowing the space to transition with ease from service to event mode.
