Studio Hasuike has designed the Shiki collection for Mirage.

Shiki transforms the traditional Japanese tatami into a contemporary ceramic grammar.

Designed by Studio Hasuike for Mirage, the collection operates as a compositional system rather than a decorative pattern.

Two slab typologies (with border and without border) combine with mosaics and linear elements to create endless spatial configurations.

The surface reads as woven fibre to the eye but reveals ceramic to the touch, creating a calibrated sensory displacement.

Four tones evoke natural states rather than colours, personally calibrated by Makio and Naomi Hasuike to resist trend cycles and age within architecture.
