Winner: Workspace Interior of the Year 2018. Office with a Patio brings teams together in one space, enhancing communication and co-working. 

This multifunctional co-working workspace in Tokyo designed by Shogo Onodera and Tsukasa Okada was created in order to develop high-quality interactions between teams. The aim was to encourage better communication and active discussions between employees, in the hope that it would benefit the company as a whole.

Judges comments: "A well-organised office with a communal space that successfully allows the user to recall the feeling of being outdoors, even though there are no windows. In a city like Tokyo, it is important to have an innovative approach to making spaces, and especially workspaces, enjoyable places to be."
