Mil Centro
by Estudio Rafael Freyre

This restaurant by Estudio Rafael Freyre overlooks an ancient archaeological site in Peru, serving as a laboratory and a hub for experiments in local gastronomy.

The restaurant, named Milo Centro, sits 3,680 metres above sea level and overlooks the ancient Moray archaeological site. The design by the Lima-based studio is influenced by traditional materials and techniques used in the Andes during pre-Columbian times. To build the restaurant, the architects overhauled a building in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, located in Peru's Andean highlands.
