Antonioli Fashion Store Milan
by Casper Mueller Kneer

Simone Bossi

Casper Mueller Kneer has designed a retail space for fashion brand Antonili, built in a former warehouse district in Milan.

The store, which is situated in the Navigli district of Milan, is an extension of Claudio Antonioli's avant-garde fashion store, which first opened in 2003 at this location.

Two materials dominate the firm's intervention in the space: Asphalt and tinted glass. Asphalt as a very basic building material: at the same time crude; inexpensive; used for large scale infrastructural installations; but if applied in unconventional ways can display great beauty.

This project has been longlisted in the small retail interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
