Sundukovy Sisters has designed a contemporary minimalistic space for Bosco Mishka Bar in Moscow.
The bar illuminates Russia's Red Square with over 2,000 dimmable light bulbs, replicating the facade illumination of GUM, an iconic shopping centre in the heart of Moscow.
In just three weeks a contemporary space took up the residence of the former Bosco Fresh Bar, right opposite the Kremlin, with one goal: to reveal the venue's legacy to city guests and locals.
This called for a sustainable approach. Sundukovy Sisters chose to not overfill the space, but strip it down to its core.
This project has been longlisted in the bar interior category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
