18.01 London has designed a hand-knotted rug that captures the textures of knitwear for Floor Story.

The rug features large-scale stripes and oversized knitted stitches that have been juxtaposed with more intricate patterns.

The studio has hand-knotted the rug from a blend of wool, linen and bamboo viscose yarns.

This project has been longlisted in the homeware design project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
