Designed by Working Holiday Studio, Casa Mami is a retreat in Pioneertown, California.
The adobe-style, eco-home hosts overnight guests on five acres of sprawling desert – then invites them to buy everything inside.
Carlos Naude and Whitney Brown of Working Holiday Studio dreamt up Casa Mami after being inspired by design hotels during their travels. After scouring the desert for the perfect property and giving it a much-needed facelift, they partnered with over 30 innovative brands to outfit the house.
Everything from the French doors, furniture, lighting and door knobs can be purchased onsite. The designers' belief is when beautiful designs meet nature, retail comes naturally.
This project has been longlisted in the hotel and short stay interior project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
