Melanie Beynon Architecture & Design has renovated and extended an Edwardian home for a young family of six in Northcote, Australia.

The owner was closely involved throughout the process, taking on the builder role themselves. The project was built in collaboration between architect, owner and craftspeople, which is reflected in the home's warm tactility and detailing.

This project has been longlisted in the residential rebirth project category of Dezeen Awards 2020.
