Aura Melis
Aura Luz Melis was born in Venezuela and studied architecture at the Technical University of Delft and at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism in Sao Paulo.
In 2005 Aura joined Inside Outside as a lead designer on landscape projects and masterplans all over the world. In 2014 Inside Outside and Aura started collaborating on an architecture project in Berlin. The possibility of making architectural interventions a part of the repertoire of the office became a promising new challenge to both Inside Outside and Aura eventually leading to Aura’s partnership in 2016. Aura is also teaching at the Interior Architecture department of the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
