Chris Precht
Chris Precht founded Precht with his wife Fei in 2017, up in the mountains of Salzburg where the natural surroundings drive and inspire his practice.
Previously operating as Penda in Beijing, the young practice designs buildings with an ecological mindset, with minimal environmental footprint, that contribute to the health of their occupants. Chris believes that buildings should give back to their surroundings and create resilient communities.
Precht’s projects range from ecological high-rises, to bamboo buildings, to interior and product designs and visual identity. The locations of these projects include Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Asia.
The practice was awarded Architzier’s Emerging Firm of the Year’ 2016 and was one of Archipreneuers ‘Best Architectural Startups’ in 2017. They have been in the top 40 of Dezeen’s Hotlist for the last two years.
