Dezeen Awards 2021 judge Dagmar Štěpánová

Czech architect Dagmar Štěpánová is founder of design studio Formafatal.

Štěpánová graduated from the faculty of architecture at the Czech Technical University in Prague. After twelve years of architecture practice, she founded studio Formafatal, now six years old.

Štěpánová's carefully selected nine member team of architects, set-designers and designers is currently working on several commercial and residential projects not only in Czech Republic, but across the world.

Formafatal studio has already won several domestic and international awards for their projects.

The Art Villas project has been especially important to  Štěpánová because of her long lasting affinity towards South and Central America. She is currently building a branch for her Formafatal studio in Costa Rica.

Formafatal won emerging interior design studio of the year in Dezeen Awards 2020.
