Reiulf Ramstad established Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter in Oslo, 1995, with the desire to use rigorous and insightful research to drive sustainable design.
In the years since, the office has gained a reputation for innovative architecture that demonstrates a wide understanding and respect for each site and programme, tailoring the approach accordingly. Reiulf has a dedicated involvement in a wide range of projects, as both leading design architect and project leader.
Twenty years and seven festivals ago he initiated the Oslo International Architecture Triennale, being Vice President of NAL at the time. He has given his time to a variety of academic activities, teaching at the Faculty of Architecture at AHO and The Norwegian University of Science and Technology for many years, and earning a professorship from the Oslo School of Architecture.
Reiulf has travelled the world giving lectures and exhibiting work. He is an Honorary Fellow of the College of Fellows at the AIA, and an official member of the Danish Association of Architects.
