Located at the waterfront of Huangpu River in Shanghai, Duo Yun Xuan Art Center creates a unique and creative workplace for young creatives from cultural and related fields.

Coinciding with the 100th anniversary Bauhaus, the design of Duo Yun Xuan Art Center offers an architectonic experience that evokes both its ethos and its current deviations, instead of translating the Bauhaus aesthetic literally. Colour and formation interventions together with geometric abstraction are used in an innovative way to activate the space.

This project has been longlisted in the large workspace interior category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
