A series of side tables, Explorer 1, 2 and 3 inspired by the playful and what reminds one of jelly-beans.

This childlike inspiration has at the same time a very elegant beauty that generally is characterised in Jaime Hayon designs.

Some parts are painted with a gloss finish and others in matte, reflective top surfaces and the different combinations of colours give even more richness to the collection which pretends to be blatantly decorative.

There are also monocolour versions that carry the same sculptural character.

This project has been longlisted in the furniture design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
