Nestled in the Italian Alps, House Cinsc sits in a valley immersed in unspoiled nature.
At 1,400 meters in altitude, the roads become gradually steeper to reach a group of houses, once inhabited, but now dense woods.
The project restores the old shape, consolidates the walls and reconfigures the interiors. It is minimal in language, as Alpine culture dictates. The contrast between exterior and interior is evident: outside a cold stone body, mimicking the landscape; inside, intimate and warm, where timber is the protagonist.
The recovery maintains the identity of the place and preserves the Rural Alpine Heritage.
