La Concordia Amphitheater, located in Bogotá, is the result of an initiative to help reactivate economic sectors affected by the pandemic through innovative, ephemeral, and sustainable interventions.

This specific proposal consists of a flexible outdoor amphitheater that can hold entertainment events, dining, and retail in the middle of the pandemic. The design uses scaffolding as a primary compositional element due to its accessibility, ephemerality, and sustainability, fitting to our ever-changing pandemic reality.

The design was able to reactivate wounded economic sectors mid-pandemic and gave the citizens of Bogota hope on how we can adapt the city into a post-pandemic reality.

Colab-19 collaborated with The Colombian Society of architects and TALLER on the project development.

This project has been longlisted in the installation design category of Dezeen Awards 2021.
