AIRA is gourmet chef Tommy Myllymäki’s new restaurant located on one of the Djurgården island’s promontories in Stockholm, a remarkable building but also a hidden gem that blends in with nearby boathouses and shipyards despite its large scale.
The restaurant’s proximity to water and nature are key elements in the architecture. The sober lighting scheme adds a subtle glow to the exterior during the dark hours and creates a unique interior atmosphere in tune with the vision of the architect and collaborating artists.
