Atelier Ferraro has created an original design that turns furniture waste into a seating solution.

The chair combines two equally fundamental approaches to sustainable design: recycling of discarded materials (in this case particle boards from furniture production) and the ability to adapt to users' ever-changing needs.

The modular design of the piece allows it to be adapted into different configurations such as a children's chair, a coffee table or expanded into a chaise lounge.

This project has been longlisted in the seating design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
