Alankaram is a furniture design studio founded by architect Anupriya Sahu and business professional Dhwanit Parmar.

Alankaram, in Sanskrit, means 'the art of decoration or ornamentation'. Established in 2015, the studio specialises in product design in solid wood, informed by cultures around the world.

The practice originated with the ethos of India's rooted family connections and now caters to a global audience.

It brings forth local craftsmanship, honest materiality, uncompromised finishing and value addition through furniture. In doing so, Alankaram aims to redefine luxury for its patrons.

This studio has been longlisted in the emerging design studio of the year category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
