Lehni and Qwstion have collaborated to produce an environmentally responsible seating solution with heritage craft techniques.

The Ensō Lounge Chair is a seat for both in- and outdoor use, defined by functionality, timeless design and minimal use of resources. The base is made from recycled aluminium, while the seat is made from regenerative naturally grown plant fibres.

In combining the furniture craft skills of Lehni and the textile knowledge of backpack brand Qwstion, the design sees innovative metal crafting meet progressive textile development to create a seat made for circularity – one that carries people through life.

This project has been longlisted in the seating design category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
