Cade Cahalan has created a collection of high-quality functional furniture that can be enjoyed by all.
The project is a collection of democratic furniture at an affordable price, that anyone can build for free with open-source instruction manuals.
Every piece is simply designed to be built with knock-down in construction, using traditional dry-fit joinery (less than a minute in assembly), with the added benefit of being customisable and replaceable in parts to ensure life-long usability.
The collection functions as a platform for education and self-sufficiency in the modern home. By utilising open-source information and encouraging anti-consumption, this collection approaches sustainable production in a new way.
