A1 Arquitectura Avanzada has created a house in Ecuador with biomimetic architecture to fully integrate with its environment.
The project sits amid trees native to the area and adapts and integrates with the existing natural biotype.
It is designed according to principles of biomimetic architecture, which seeks to find sustainable solutions by analysing nature through the understanding of the principles that are found in different environments and species.
The house does not try to replicate forms found in nature – instead, it attempts to understand their operation and evolution, with the aim of empowering its design to be more efficient and functional.
