IA Interior Architects has created a London workspace to prioritise employee wellbeing.
The project is the new studio of the IA London team. It bypasses prior precedents of office design and transitions the concept of office to the concept of home.
The design is based on the idea shaped by the success of remote working that work is an activity not a place. While the allure of working from home remains strong, there remains an admitted longing for the camaraderie and synergy of face-to-face interaction.
The result is a workspace that moves away from a mindset of individual ownership to a more shared experience. It prioritises need, ease, wellbeing, inclusivity and innovation over entitlement, with clean lines, open spaces and a calm atmosphere.
