Urselmann Interior has designed The Circular Office in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The goal is a sustainable interior without compromising on modern aesthetics.

Urselmann Interior avoids the "design flaw" of waste; with the Cradle2Cradle-inspired designs of the Düsseldorf-based start-up, waste equals nutrients.

In the development of its own office, only materials and products have been used that are biodegradable, upcycleable in the technical cycle or sourced secondhand.

All the interior furnishings are made of healthy materials which are not glued, can easily be dismantled according to type and are, therefore, permanently recyclable. Thus, there is no waste after The Circular Office's useful life as all raw materials can be reused.

This project has been longlisted in the sustainable interior category of Dezeen Awards 2022.
